God says “do not be afraid” or, “fear not” 365 times in the bible. He must be serious! … There are 365 days in a year, so he has one for every day.
“Be strong and courageous, and do it. Fear not; be not dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail or forsake you until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.” (I Chronicles 28:20)
Fear not. That is the message David had for his son, Solomon. For many years, David wanted to build a temple for the Lord. But God told Him that specific job belonged to his son, Solomon. Solomon was young and inexperienced, and even though he knew he had a mandate from God, he was intimidated by the prospect of building a great house of worship, one that would be a dwelling place for the Most High. Your can probably understand his apprehension.
But his father David had some good advice for him. He told his son, “Forget your fear. God is bigger than your problems. He is bigger than the temple you are going to build. He is bigger than any adversity that you might face. So just get busy and do your part and God will do the rest.”
Perhaps as this new day approaches you have some changes that need to be made. Maybe you need a renovation in your marriage, finances, health, or emotions. Whatever your individual needs may be, notice the words of David, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Fear not, be not dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you.”

The good news today is that no matter how often we turn away from God and focus on things and sin rather than on Him, He is always there, waiting for us with outstretched arms. We are always welcome to come back and bask in His love.
In Luke 15:10 Jesus says “I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents”. (NIV Bible) Since we know that thousands of people around the world are coming into the Kingdom every day, just think of how much celebrating must be going on in heaven right at this very moment!
Our Father loves throwing parties for His kids, for each party represents one orphan or prodigal who has found their way back into His heart! Let’s all join in our Father’s celebration.

“And the God of all grace…will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast” (I Peter 5:10, NIV).
Have you experienced destruction in your past? God wants to completely restore you. He wants to make you strong, firm and steadfast—He wants to make you better than before!
Sometimes, when you are in the midst of difficulty, you can’t quite see the restoration God has prepared. You can’t quite see how He can turn it around for your good. But that’s when you have to take a step of faith and trust that He is the God of restoration, and He is working behind the scenes on your behalf!

Prayer: Dear God I know I’m a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness! I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins.
Please wash me clean from all sin, shame, and guilt, come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I ask this in your name Jesus.
Amen!”

The Scripture says that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He makes His home on the inside of us—a treasure far greater than anything this world has to offer! This is what Second Corinthians 4:7 means when it says, “We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” As believers in Jesus, the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us! We have a priceless treasure inside of us! When we read, study and meditate on the Word of God, we are exploring that treasure within. The Word of God is your treasure map! We are tapping into what God has placed on the inside of us—the gifts, power and blessing through His precious Son, Jesus Christ.
I encourage you today; don’t settle for living a mediocre existence. When God created you, He created a masterpiece, a vessel in which to house the glory of God.
Every morning when you get out of bed, remind yourself, I have the same power that raised Christ from the dead living in me! I am the head and not the tail! I am positioned for victory in Jesus’ name! Make His Word your highest priority. Be determined to live a life of obedience to the Word of God so that you can partake of the eternal blessing He has in store for you!
